Every day, people and organizations throughout our community are doing good work.
They're meeting needs. Serving families. Encouraging people. Creating opportunities. Showing up when someone needs help. And extending kindness in ways both big and small.
At Kindness + Co., we don't believe we need to recreate the good work that's already happening. We want to come alongside it.
We call the local causes and nonprofit organizations we support our Mission Partners—because this is about more than making a donation. It's about partnership.
More Than a Donation
Our hope is to support Mission Partners in several ways.
We give.
Our in-store retail model allows proceeds after expenses to be given back to organizations doing good locally.
We serve.
Through hands-on opportunities at our Service Table and beyond our walls, we'll invite the Kindness + Co. community to help meet real needs identified by our Mission Partners.
We share.
We'll use our space and our voice to introduce more people to the organizations doing meaningful work throughout our community—and help people discover ways to get involved.
We pray.
We'll pray for the people doing the work, the people they serve and the needs they encounter along the way.
Because sometimes the best way to make a difference is to strengthen the people who are already being kind.

As we prepare to open Kindness + Co., we're also preparing to identify the organizations we'll have the privilege of coming alongside.
When our first Mission Partner is selected, you'll meet them here. We'll share their story, the work they're doing, the needs they're seeing and ways you can be part of it, too.
Who Should We Know?
We know some of the most meaningful work in a community can happen quietly. So help us find it.
If you know a local nonprofit, ministry, organization or cause extending kindness in Springfield or the surrounding communities, we'd love to hear about them.
You don't have to work for the organization to nominate them. Just tell us who they are and why you think we should know their story.
